Juvenile delinquency

This was written on 13.10.2005 for my school magazine when i was in class 12. It may be kinda juvenile as the topic itself says but it was my first work that came out in print.

We children often falter,
in such a silly matter
as forgetting our homework
which fails to give our mind a jerk
and not reading our lessons
to understand its essence
there are bigger mistakes
like the signature fakes
the rubbish language
which is the main bacteriophage
not to forget about love
which is not for anybody now
and errors like the improper uniform
which should not be the norm
last but not the least, he discipline,
should not be there in the bin
all these juvenile delinquencies
will never be found in our dictionaries.

A Rainy day

As I enjoy the cool afternoon breeze,
past the sun i see the dark clouds wheeze,
I hear the rattling in the sky,
as a drop falls on the lid of my eye,
Sometimes i ponder whether its a bad sign,
that makes the rain God cry and whine,
or does his mouth water,
due to some baker's butter,

And there comes the lightning,

giving an appearance thats quite frightening,
between the dark clouds it does appear,
asking us to be happier,
coz wherever we feel the answer is "nope",
there will always be a silver lining of hope,

Now i hear the thunder,
cant it be a little bit tender,
Never should this evoke fear,
as this is a sign to cheer,
and fight our battle with all our might
because "barking dogs" seldom bite.

Finally does appear the rainbow,
telling us that the benefits we reap are for those which we sow.
